We have all heard the term "Network Marketing", but how many of us actually know what it means? The truth is, not many of us fully understands what Network Marketing really means and the steps you have to take to become a SUCCESSFUL Network Marketer.
Network Marketing is a marketing strategy where the sales force is paid not only for the sales they make but also for for the sales of people whom they recruit into the company. It is a form of direct selling where the products and services are sold directly to the person by word of mouth.
Network Marketing is a multi-billion dollar industry which can be very lucrative for Distributors who join a company's network. It is not a difficult job but it does require time and effort and the best thing about it is you can set your own hours. Some people become very successful, earning six-figure-incomes in as little as three months while others struggle and fail. Why? It all comes down to two things; your PERSISTENCE and ENDURANCE. With these two qualities there is no reason why you shouldn't be a SUCCESSFUL Network Marketer. Its not about skills or experience because those qualities can be learnt along the way.
So, you've made the decision to become a Network Marketer. Now it is time to get started.
GETTING STARTED IN NETWORK MARKETING:
- Find a REPUTABLE Company: There are many companies you can partner with to get started in Network Marketing. Be sure to find a LEGIT company that is in adherence to the rules and regulates of the FTC and Direct Selling Association.
- Become a Distributor: So you have found a reputable company. Would you use their product or service?. If you are going to be selling and promoting a product or service ensure that it is something you would use. Buyers are more likely to purchase a product that the seller or the mass is using.
- Written Goals: Now that you have joined the "Network Marketing Circle", it is important that you set realistic goals. it is best to write them down somewhere you can see them everyday. Write down why you became involved in Network Marketing, what you would like to accomplish in one month, two months, three months, etc. REMEMBER TO BE REALISTIC.
- Business Plan: Being a Network Marketer is very much the same as being an Entrepreneur. You basically own and operate your own independent business, therefore you will need a basic business plan. Not 10 full pages of complexity but simply one page which will outline how you will promote products or services.
- Learn from those who have been successful: Read books and watch videos from those who are in the same field and have managed to become successful. Follow in their footsteps. They have already laid the blue-print and did all the hard work it is now for you to follow their steps.
- Know your product or service: You should have knowledge of the products you are promoting. If someone should ask you a question about one of your products you should be able to answer or have the information readily accessible.
- Share your products and opportunity: You should do this at every chance you get. First, start with your friends and family. This is known as your "warm market", make a list of thirty people who you know would be interested in the product, service, opportunity you are offering.
